Infrared barriers are one of the best established security solutions in the market place. They provide an invisible ‘fence’, which when broken by an intruder creates an alarm condition. This makes them particularly suitable for perimeter protection.

 

The barriers may utilise single or dual beam configurations. With dual beam both beam paths need to be blocked simultaneously to create alarm activations. Dual beams emit more infrared energy making them more resistant to false activations caused by adverse weather conditions.

Una novedad en protección óptica es la cámara MAGGIS, que permite el visionado en tiempo real de lo que pasa en un sitio directamente desde un teléfono móvil 3G o UMTS, sin necesidad de paso a través de servidores internet IP ni tener que descargar un programa de visionado en su smartphone. Tanto puede usarse para llamar a la videocámara desde el teléfono móvil como la propia cámara, conectado a un sistema de alarma, llama al móvil del usuario en caso de activación. Funciona con cualquier operador de telefonia y puede instalarlo el propio usuario.
