Biometric reader. Capacitive technology. Works with stand-alone systems but also with PC systems. The stand-alone unit is the OMNIA access controller, connected to the reader through a RS485 connections. The reader works with no need of any card or keypad, fingerprint only. The memory of OMNIA unit is 1900 fingerprints, and the response time is 1 second. Every OMNIA controller can manage 2 BIOMET readers, every controller has 2 really outputs. The OMNIA controller has also 2 standard inputs for wiegand or clock&data readers (proximity, magstripe, etc..) It is possible to declare a number of fingerprints as “administrators” and then after their touch, the BIOMET can learn other fingerprints without opening the cover box. The security of encrypt system is 256 bits. It is ideal for opening any door or alarm connection.
